  1. Eggs are high in cholesterol. It is true but it does not affect the blood cholesterol.  In our body liver produce a large amount of cholesterol but when we eat the egg it produces less cholesterol; therefore it balances out itself. For the people who have genetic disorders like familial hypercholesterolemia or a gene type called ApoE4 should avoid eggs. Eating eggs does not affect the cholesterol of the major population.
  2. Eggs good source of nutrition: Eggs is one the food present on the planet earth which has a very good nutrition value. They contain Vitamin A, Folate, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B12, Phosphorus, Selenium; they also do contain a decent amount of Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, Calcium, Zinc and Vitamin B6. There are some brands of egg available on the market that are also rich in Omega-3.
  3. Eggs contain Choline: Choline is an important nutrient that people do not get enough and for the fact, many people do not know it exists. Choline is used to build cell membrane and has played a role in signaling the molecules in the brain.
  4. Eggs have good cholesterol: HDL stands for High-Density Lipoprotein which is often known as the “good cholesterol”. It has been observed that people who have a high level of HDL have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke, and various health problems.
  5. Eggs turn small, dense LDL to large LDL: LDL stands for low-density lipoprotein which is termed as “bad” cholesterol. Many studies have shown that the people who have small, dense LDL particles are more prone to heart disease as compared to the large LDL. It is studied that eggs increase mildly the LDL cholesterol in some people but they change the small, dense to large LDL which is sort of good thing.

Calories in egg white: it contains 25% of calories in one whole egg.

Calories in the boiled egg: One medium boiled egg contains 72 calories in it.

Calories in scrambled eggs: fried in a scrambled egg contain 90-95 calories in it. Scrambled egg with mild will cross 100 calories.

Calories in poached eggs: the one medium size poached egg contains 80+ calories in it.
